Brooklyn & Beyond is a dynamic string duo featuring violinist Helene Bergman and cellist Mary Robb. The ensemble's name symbolizes the intersections of our new Brooklyn roots and focus on performing string duos from around the world in a classical setting. Performing in Brooklyn and the greater NY area, our concerts showcase the versatility that our instruments offer within the classical repertoire. Our most recent performances have included works ranging from Bach's Fifteen Two-Part Inventions (originally written for keyboard) to the more contemporary compositions of Piazzolla and Vasks.
